Gator arrested for barking at Dog

Antonio Morrison portrait

Gator arrested for barking at dog. Yes You heard me right only in Florida could a gator be arrested for let alone barking at a dog. This time however University of Florida linebacker Antonio Morrison was the gator put in cuffs. After an altercation at All Star Sports Bar Gainesville police department responded only to have Morrison walk to the car of one of the police K9 units and began barking. When asked without success to stop, police tried restraining Morrison, however after a brief struggle they were successful. When asked why he did it Morrison replied with I went "Woof Woof" at the dog, because he barked at me first. The Police dog named Bear wasn't harmed, however Morrison who just last month was charged for a similar altercation with a bouncer at another local club, has been suspended for the opening two games of the Gator Season. Hopefully Bear hopefully he gets special seats for the gator vs bulldogs rivalry game this season.

Update:

The States Attorney's Office reports that they have dismissed the charges against Antonio Morrison, however the deferred prosecution agreement reached in his June arrest will remain intact. For those of you who want to see the full statement I have attached it here for your viewing pleasure.
